Ian Greenstreet, born in London in 1959, is a Ghanaian-British international risk expert. He is the founder and chairman of Infinity Capital Partners Ltd. He has over 35 years of experience of banking and financial services experience having worked for international firms including ABN AMRO Bank, Yamaichi, Lloyds Bank and Henderson Fund Management. A man of foresight, he was able to predict the downfall of Long Term Capital Management saving ABN AMRO bank billions while being able to implement a system of including risk experts on City trading floors to maximize profitability and mitigate risk on transactions.
Ian’s passion for bettering the lives of his fellow Africans drew him to leverage his skill set with African financial initiatives. He has a wealth of experience of Board experience and is currently a Board member and Chairman of the Board Audit Risk Committee of Diamond Bank in Nigeria and a representative of World Bank on Assupol in South Africa while also co-managing the first independent, integrated power project in Nigeria. He has a passion for finding innovative solutions to problems and believes that you can make super-normal returns consistent with the betterment of our communities.
